The Scriptures Validated Christ's Ministry

Scripture was used to authenticate Christ through His birth:

Matthew 2:4-6 "And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born. And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet, And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel. "

Scripture was used to authenticate Christ directly: Matthew 26.24; Luke 20.17-18; John 12.14-15

The Apostles remembered and fully believed in the authenticity of Christ based on the Prophetic Revelations: John 12.16

Christ's authenticity is confirmed by Scripture as His history completed the prophecies: Mark 9.12; 14.21; 14.27

Christ knew the things that were going to happen to Him, and used the Scriptural prophecies to witness to the accuracy of His words: Luke 18.31-33
Christ's ministry was not fulfilled until the Scriptural prophecies were fulfilled: Luke 22.37; 24.46

The Scriptures were used to drive off Satan. If the Scriptures are not inerrant, then it is logical that they have no power. Thus if they are errant, then Christ used an empty gun to drive off Satan: Matthew 4.4-10; Luke 4.4-13

Scripture was used to drive away the Children of Satan: Matthew 21.12-13; Mark 11.15-17

Scripture was used to confirm the calling of John the Baptist. By doing so, they affirmed the genuineness of the ministry of Christ: Matthew 11.9-11; Mark 1.2-3; Luke 3.4-6

A cornerstone of the ministry of Christ was that "Scripture must be fulfilled": Luke 21.22

The authenticity of Christ is based on the historic accuracy of the Bible: John 6.31-35

The Scriptures must be historically accurate if they are to witness to Christ's genuineness and to call all men to salvation: John 20.31
