The Fellowship of The Brethren

Fellowship among the brethren isn't just a gathering together of the Saints for "Dinner on the Grounds", baptisms, sings, or special other "services". Fellowship among the Saints is initiated by the gathering together of the Saints as one Body (under the command of our Lord Jesus Christ), and is only attained when all members of that gathered Body function together to One. Fellowship of the Saints therefore requires co-operation among the Saints to the degree that all believers in that Body keep a clean account with God (confession of sins) prior to gathering together; and that all believers in the Body strive to reach the same mature spiritual status as their follow members. This is what comprises true fellowship.

1. THE INITIATION OF FELLOWSHIP (THE GATHERING OF THE SAINTS) IS COMMANDED TO ALL BELIEVERS: HEBREWS 10.24-25

2. IT IS THE PLAN AND PRAYER OF JESUS THAT WE REACH UNITY (ONENESS) IN THE BODY, JUST AS THE HOLY TRINITY HAS UNITY IN HEAVEN: JOHN 17.11, 21-23

"AND NOW I AM NO MORE IN THE WORLD (Kosmos = the world order of Satan) ,

BUT THESE ARE IN THE WORLD, AND I COME TO THEE. HOLY FATHER (Hagios Pater = consecrated , sanctified Father, Creator of Life)

AS THOU, FATHER, ART IN ME, AND I IN THEE, THAT THEY MAY ALSO BE ONE (Heis)

IN US: THAT THE WORLD MAY BELIEVE THAT THOU HAST SENT ME (The unity of the Church is a silent witness to the World that Christianity is indeed a living faith!)

AND THE GLORY (Doxza, Glory. Refers to the Holy Spirit and His ministries. See John 16.5-16)

OF THE BLOOD Of CHRIST? THE BREAD WHICH WE BREAK (Klao = to break, to tear. The broken bread symbolizes the Body of Christ on the Cross. By breaking the bread together we recognize that Christ died for all of us who are believers. We are united by his death)

IS IT NOT THE COMMUNION OF THE BODY (Soma = A corporal or individual body, here used in parallel meaning to designate both the Body of Christ individually as well as the Body of Christ (the Church) here on earth)

OF CHRIST? FOR WE BEING MANY ARE ONE BREAD, AND ONE BODY. FOR WE ARE ALL PARTAKERS OF THAT ONE BREAD (Because the Body of Christ was broken for each of us who believe on Him, we become His Body on earth.
