Good Works

In order to produce a work which God determines is good, the following conditions must be met:

The Work Must Be Done In Faith
Romans 1:17  "For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith."

Romans 14:23  "And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin."

The Work Must Have The Intent Of Glorifying God
Romans 4:20-22 "He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;  And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.  And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness."

1 Corinthians 1:31  "That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord."

You Must Do It In The Name Of Christ
Luke 9:48  "And said unto them, Whosoever shall receive this child in my name receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me receiveth him that sent me: for he that is least among you all, the same shall be great."

John 16:25-26 "These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father.  At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you: "

Philippians 2:9  "Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: "

John 14:13  "And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son."
