the Old Testament was written in Hebrew, Chaldean, and Aramaic,
and the New Testament was written in Koine Greek with some
Aramaic. The reason you are able to have an English translation
of the Bible today is because scholars sat down,studied these
original languages, and did their best to translate this text
over into English. |
